Cleveland Loop

Crossing both the Val-Saint-François and Des Sources regions, this 44-kilometre loop—starting in Richmond (or in Danville, as an alternative)— makes a great first gravel outing. It’s a thoroughly enjoyable ride, with a few hills thrown in for extra fun and gorgeous views on sweeping rural vistas.

Km 11

Denison Mills

A picture-perfect bonus about a dozen kilometres into your ride on Chemin McLaughlin: A lovely little lake and Holy Trinity Church, an Anglican institution dating back to 1875.

Km 12

Chemin Grandmont

Past Lac Denison you’ll ride on Chemin Grandmont, which is bordered by a magnificent maple grove. You may come across a closed (“fermé”) sign but no worries: Chemin Grandmont is open to cyclists anytime except in winter.

Carve out some time to explore this little gem, with standouts including the independent boutiques and stately heritage homes along rue Dépôt.
