Cold weather days are here ; it’s the perfect time to cozy up in a warm cabin set in the heart of a welcoming nature. Here are some great options.

The Écho Cabin, perfect for the family

For a total-comfort stay, opt for the Écho Cabin. All the amenities are offered here to guarantee a perfect, total peace-of-mind experience: a living room with a wood-burning stove, a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator and a stove, a full bathroom as well as two rooms which can welcome four adults. All this, set inside a charming cabin with a very modern architectural style.

Would you like to rent it? You’ll be able to enjoy your stay right here, inside the Parc National du Mont-Mégantic in the Franceville sector, in the Eastern Townships.

Maximum capacity: 4 adults and 2 children


The EXP Cabin, the Perfect Couple’s Outing

Similar to Écho cabin, EXP Cabin is, however, somewhat smaller, which makes it the ideal couple’s getaway. The contemporary architecture of the cabin invites you to relax and contemplate its surrounding nature. On the practical side, it has an electric stove with two cooking surfaces, a refrigerator, all the necessary kitchen equipment, a bathroom with a shower and a wood-burning stove.

This type of lodging is offer at the Parc national du Mont-Mégantic and at the Parc national du Mont-Orford.

Maximum capacity: 2 to 4 adults (depending on the location) and 2 children


The Nature Cabin, an Authentic Experience

The Nature Cabin has a typical cabin aspect: a gable roof, wood lined interior walls, a small mezzanine and a wood stove. It might not have the same modern look of the other cabins, such as the Écho and the EXP, but it is not less comfortable because of this! Full equipped and located in the centre of all the activities of the park, it is the perfect base camp for your excursions.

Would you like to experience a true nature cabin? Just head out to the Parc national du Mont-Orford, the Parc national de la Yamaska or the Parc national de Frontenac.

Maximum capacity: 4 adults and 2 children


The Rustic Camp for a Return to Nature Experience

You have a limited budget and would like to experience something … leaner? Choose the Rustic Camp for your stay and discover a true nature haven. Inside, you’ll find beds, a big table with chairs and a wood-burning stove with some heating wood included. You’ll have access to an outdoor dry toilet. During your getaway, you’ll need to bring your drinking water and all the kitchen equipment you’ll need plus lighting since there’s no water, nor any electricity in our rustic camps.

Three locations in the Eastern Townships offer this type of lodging: the Parc national du Mont-Mégantic, the Parc national de la Yamaska and the Parc national de Frontenac.

Maximum capacity: 2 to 4 adults (depending on the location) and 2 children

A Rustic Timber-Wood Camp

The Parc regional du Mont-Ham offers a lodging experience in the heart of the forest with its three rustic camps, available all year long. Inside each camp, you’ll find a wood-burning stove, plus heating wood, two double beds, two single beds and a table for four. Located at the foot of the majestic Mont-Ham, at 200 metres from the welcome pavilion, you’ll also have easy access to washrooms, showers and a food counter.

Maximum capacity: 2 adults and 2-3 children OR 4 adults
