Bromont is the place to be for…

… Rugged Mountain Terrain

While Bromont is a hub for all types of cycling in Quebec (and is home to the Centre National de Cyclisme), mountain biking is central to the city’s DNA. Together, the connected trail networks of Bromont, montagne d’expériences and Parc des Sommets offer 150 kilometres of downhill, enduro, and cross-country trails. The former has three chairlifts to swiftly access the summit while the latter offers some of the most breathtaking views of the Bromont mountains. Thrill seekers are sure to appreciate the challenge of the varied, highly technical terrain on offer.

… Road and Gravel Excursions

Given the fact that Brome-Missisquoi is known for its hilly topography strewn with beautiful vineyards, bustling towns, charming villages, and heritage treasures (round barns, covered bridges, etc.), exploring on two wheels is a no-brainer. From Bromont, riders can easily access both gravel and paved routes suitable for any skill level.

If you’re curious about riding on a track, the Centre National de Cyclisme de Bromont velodrome is the perfect place to hone your skills.

… Mellow Bike Path Rides

Bromont is a cycling capital with lots of challenging terrain to keep advanced riders on their toes but make no mistake: There are also plenty of tamer options for novices looking for flatter terrain away from vehicular traffic. For instance, the city is connected to the Estriade bike path network, a multi-use path accessible to all, including families. Spanning more than 60 kilometres, it connects cities, lakes, and notable attractions like Parc National de la Yamaska, Lac Boivin, and open-air art installations (Artria).

… Exploring On and Off the Bike

Cyclists flock to Bromont year after year not only for the scenic terrain but also for all the amenities you’ll find in this resort town. The historic downtown core is ideal for a leisurely stroll and shop; three craft breweries and a smattering of restaurants are the perfect spot for a post-ride treat; spas (including the stunning BALNEA Spa + Réserve Thermale) are conducive to some well-earned R&R; there are four renowned golf courses to hit some balls on days off the bike; plenty of bucolic vineyards nearby; a full schedule of events and festivals that keeps things lively and fun year round. It’s no wonder that Bromont is Quebec’s favourite riding destination.
