This itinerary will guide you through three days filled with discoveries: whether you’re a hiking, biking or swimming enthusiast, a true foodie or simply looking for a peaceful retreat, here everyone will find something to meet their interests! Use the following ideas to help you plan your camping vacation at Huttopia Sutton and the surrounding region!
Before you arrive at the campground, stop by the picturesque town of Sutton, where time seems to slow down inside a serene, natural setting. Only five minutes from your destination, this little gem, nestled in the heart of the mountains, invites you to stroll through its lively streets, lined with welcoming cafés and charming boutiques. For a complete immersive experience, choose one of the three audio-guided tours you can download onto your phone and discover the region’s fascinating history. On foot, by bike, or by car, you’ll be surprised by the rich and exceptional heritage this part of the country has to offer. Enjoy your explorations!
When you’ve completed your town visit, head towards the Huttopia Sutton campground, where you can settle in peacefully on your fully equipped site. Take advantage of all this arrival energy to explore the trails that wind across this vast 65-hectare domain. Your children will be delighted by the many facilities and onsite activities, including the nature adventure circuit, the playground, the ping-pong table, the pétanque court, the cornhole game and much more! Then, relax by the heated swimming pool or cool off by the Ruisseau Cook, which meanders through the Huttopia site (some fully-equipped tents even have a view overlooking this lovely brook).
To complete this first very busy day, visit the campground bistro and treat yourself to a delightful meal! You’ll be tempted by their delicious homemade pizza or one of the other tasty selections that will satisfy any craving. Then, while some are prolonging the evening’s fun by dropping by the bar (open all day!), you might want to start a campfire to enjoy some s’mores as you gaze up to the star-filled sky.
