By going back to the humble origins of the village, this circuit will take you on a journey through time, from 1793 to present day.
During your visit, you will explore the rich heritage of Bromont’s Old Village, formerly West-Shefford. Turn the clock back to discover buildings, people or tales that will allow you to learn about the village. Meet the first pioneers that will tell you about the village’s birth and let yourself be lulled by many stories: the church’s bells, the saddler and his violin or the blacksmith and the cemetery’s cross. You will even get to know more about the fight against alcoholism that took place in front of the village’s inn more than a hundred years ago.
