Musée ferroviaire

On the border of L'Estriade bike path, the small museum is located inside one of our heritage jewels, commonly known as "Caboose". The exhibition chronicles the evolution of Waterloo's railway network and its builder, Mr. Asa Belknap Foster. Nicknamed "The King of the Canadian Railway" will tell his story and that of Waterloo through various explanatory panels as well as an illustrated cartoon-like section to compliment the children's visit. The museum also includes a sketch of the city of old with its main attractions at the time of the construction of the railway.
