Sentier du Cap-Frontière - 7

Sentiers frontaliers

Trail accessible via trail no. 1 in the Mount Gosford sector. This trail will lead you to the Clearwater Valley where you’ll find mountains and valleys. The Cap-Frontière view is a must see – at an altitude of 1154 m, it provides a view of mountains in Maine and Quebec. You can take an interesting loop of 22 km by joining trails no. 8, 6, 1 and 7. This loop will take you up the two highest peaks in our network. Climbing two peaks of more than 1150 m in the same day is quite a feat. You can spend the night at the Clearwater refuge or if you prefer, camp at 1000 m in altitude at camping F or in Ruisseau du Cap lean-to campsite.
