Sherbrooke - Marais Réal-D.-Carbonneau

Sherbrooke - Urban walks

Regarded as one of last important wetlands within the city’s limits, the Marais Réal-D.-Carbonneau is home to a diversified flora and fauna. It is an ideal location to watch birds in their natural habitat and to take photographs. This 40-acre ecosystem features lookouts, trails on pilings, and interpretation panels, enabling hikers to make amazing observations and discover the marsh’s wealth. The trails also provide access to a 5 km trail maintained by the Sentiers de l'Estrie to Debonair Park, as well as a residential area leading to the Beauvoir Sanctuary Road.
