Located inside a heritage building right in the heart of Richmond, the Café du Couvent specializes in grilled sandwiches (with plenty of vegetarian or vegan options), as well as parties. But you’ll need to be on the lookout, because every week you’ll find some great new items on the menu (salads, pizzas, soups...). With its reserved space featuring the work of local artisans, perfect for picking up a gift, its splendid grassy terrace and its friendly atmosphere, Café du Couvent is sure to please the whole family. Psst! They also have Bubble Tea from MysTea!
At Waterloo’s friendly Espace Boho, where the slogan is “eat, shop, browse,” hearty sandwiches, fair trade coffees and an ever-changing menu mingle with a pleasure and wellbeing boutique, bulk goods, second-hand goods and a thrift shop. Yes, all that! In this creative universe where the music is eclectic and the decor changes according to the owners’ mood, you go there to eat as much as to have fun and spot some great vintage finds. Many cyclists passing through the area will be happy to grab lunch or rest their legs while sipping a good cup of coffee!
Here, the motto is “just like home”! Whether it’s in one of the four upstairs rooms or in the dining room, at Auberge Le Sunshine you’ll feel right at home, because you’ll be treated to an authentic and friendly experience! You’ll find delicious home-cooked dishes, a wide selection of ready-to-eat foods, a bakery and a local products counter... And in the warm and inviting dining room, you’ll be delighted by the many works of art by local artists. Oh, and there’s a catering service too!
There once was an art gallery that dreamed of adding a kitchen to its offer. Seeing the success of this new culinary twist, the gallery had the idea of adding a brand-new wood-burning oven and a taproom. All these transformations contributed to the great success of the café-gallery La Station and has kept its visitors very happy... It’s a great story, isn’t it? Whether you’re looking for an aperitif, art, salads, gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, divine pastries or meticulously selected local products, La Station is the place to be!
They say it’s one of the best-kept secrets in the Townships! A delicious menu, a friendly terrace, a warm welcome, products smoked on site, creations by some fifty artisans and visual art exhibitions constitute the main features of Café Fabulé’s offer. It’s the perfect place to break bread and fill up on local delicacies! Look for the “Fumé à l’os” banner: you’ll find smoked meat, vacuum-packed smoked salmon, smoked tofu, smoked veggie pâtés and homemade vinaigrettes, each tastier than the last. We can’t wait to hear what you have to say!
Dora, with a good seven decades under its belt, now has a branch in Orford with an all-new formula. At Dora Café and Marché local, you’ll find breakfast and lunch to eat in or take out, the succulent Dora bakery products for which the shop is famous, and a fine grocery store showcasing Townships products. Whether you have a sweet or salty tooth, there’s something to suit every taste! What’s more, you might even leave with a work of art, since all the creations adorning the walls are for sale!
In the heart of the region known as the birthplace of Québec’s first vineyards, Épicerie-café Dunham showcases the wines and spirits of the Brome-Missisquoi region and local products, both on the menu and at every Friday’s farmer’s market! Hearty breakfasts, creative sandwiches, decadent burgers and other excellent dishes are all on the menu. The grocery section has a marinated meat counter and a great range of ready-made meals. A big MIAM!
