Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke

To admire some fifty works of art while being told a story, that’s what the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Sherbrooke is offering with La balade contée: Le géant et l’oiseau, an artistic and poetic journey for children from 4 to 7 years of age.

  • Sunday, October 31, November 28 and December 19. Reservations are required.

The Sherbrooke Museum of Nature and Science

If you haven’t yet seen the exhibition Dans la chambre des merveilles at Sherbrooke’s Museum of Science and Nature hurry and buy your tickets to discover the mysterious and singular world of curiosity cabinets! A must-see for the whole family!

  • Presented until April 17, 2022.

Centre d’interprétation du marais de la Rivière-aux-Cerises

Because of their overflowing imagination, children can truly appreciate Surrealist Art. A new exhibition, D’âme nature, a play on words meaning the spirit of Mother Nature, by painter Manon Potvin, is being presented at the Centre d’interprétation du Marais de la Rivière aux Cerises. These works of art will truly capture your young ones’ attention as they discover surreal depictions of landscapes and scenes showcasing nature!

  • Wednesday to Sunday between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., free admission.

Bleu Lavande

With their Moment Factory creation, Bleu Lavande has scored a big hit with families. The Chromatic Fields’s participatory universe invites visitors to walk through an Impressionist lavender field and immerse themselves in this most colourful landscape. Simply amazing!

Théâtre Léonard-St-Laurent (Séminaire de Sherbrooke)

Are you looking for a play you’d love to see with your teenagers? Une fille en or, presented at the Théâtre Léonard-St-Laurent, is the ideal choice. It combines the strange, the fantastic, the philosophical with a touch of humour, this creation features one actress playing four characters. Intriguing indeed!

The Centre Culturel de l’Université de Sherbrooke

Fans of magic and science at home projects? Then you must take your kids to the Centre Culturel de l’Université de Sherbrooke to see the star of Science ou magie, Par ici la magie and Code Max, magician Daniel Coutu perform in C’est merveilleux! Your children will discover magic from a whole new perspective!

Orford Musique

Invite your youngsters to experience two memorable evenings at Orford Musique with the talented Charles Richard-Hamelin and the quartet QW4RTZ: 4 guys, 4 mics. A great way for everyboby to enlarge their musical background!

Musée de l'ingéniosité J. Armand Bombardier

Find out three very important moments in the history of this not to be missed institution! You have until December 31th to visit the exhibition Les 50 ans du musée as you enjoy also the other ehxibitions like Histoires de passions and Testez vos transports.

Artria

Nature, culture and cycling, does this combination appeal to you? Head out on the Haute Yamaska bicycle path network to explore Artria, a true open-air museum! Throughout your outing, you’ll be able to admire the imposing sculptures of more than forty artists from 17 different countries. Amazing!

Did you know that in the charming town of Sutton you can find more than 120 artists working in the field of visual arts and crafts? To discover them, the Blue Muse Tour is an absolute must!
