Before you head out for the day (and your cycling adventure), you’ll want to stop by the Café de la Brûlerie in Granby. This friendly village café is a great place for enjoying a delicious breakfast and a good dose of caffeine.

Cycle Around Lac Boivin and the Choinière Reservoir

Following the shorelines of Lac Boivin and the Yamaska River, this 40-kilometre nature loop will take you to the Parc National de la Yamaska (entrance fee required). Follow the route around the Choinière Reservoir, an 18-kilometre loop through the forest. Feeling the heat? Stop off at the beach for a refreshing swim and then head back to Granby. On the way back, you’ll pass by the Centre d’interprétation de la nature du lac Boivin, a magnificent natural environment just a few minutes from the city centre.

From Magog, this 33 km route will first take you along the La Montagnarde bike path before flirting with the base of the Mont-Orford ski resort. It’s here that you’ll cover most of the route’s ascent! You’ll then enjoy a beautiful descent to the village of Orford. Your route continues on Route 13, where you’ll enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding landscape and where you’ll have an opportunity to take a short detour to the Vignoble d’Orford. An easy descent will then take you back to your starting point.
