Admire the View from the Vineyard at Val Caudalie

Just under 4 km from your last stop, Val Caudalie appears at the top of the road after a somewhat steep climb! But it’s well worth the effort: the view from the vineyard’s covered terrace is exceptional! The fruit grown here is transformed into rare quality and delicious nectars. The wines and ciders produced by Val Caudalies have won numerous awards. Admire the Saint-Benoît-du-Lac Abbey

At the end of the day, head out from Ayer’s Cliff to the other side of the Memphremagog region. A jewel perched above the water, the Abbey of Saint-Benoît-du-Lac is without doubt one of the most emblematic features of the Eastern Townships. Founded in 1912, the monastery’s geometric architecture attracts and fascinates. It seems perfectly adapted to the surrounding nature. The monks who live here have clearly understood this principle, by choosing to plant apple trees on the land (accessible for self-picking) and by making cheese. All their products are also available in their boutique. Stop by, before you leave!
