Le Cercle de Pierres de Stanstead (Stone Circle)

The Stanstead Stone Circle – a place of peace, reflection and inspiration. Similar in concept to Neolithic stone circles found in Celtic Britain and France, the Stanstead Circle is made entirely of local granite and was designed to honour not just the equinox, but also the 45th parallel and the granite industry that is so vital to our quality of life. Located just at the edge of town in a wide open field, running along the beautiful Tomifobia River, the stone circle is here for the enjoyment of all. People are welcome to visit, meditate, picnic, or just wander through the fields – whatever soothes your spirit and stirs your soul. Check the website for the latest information.
