Route des Vins Brome-Missisquoi

By taking this route, you will awaken all your senses! Whether by car or bike, through mountains and valleys, you'll share your love of wine with 23 passionate winemakers. Imagine, 60% of Quebec's wine production is found on this single wine route in Quebec, stretching over 140 km through picturesque villages. In addition to tasting its wines and other products, you are invited to discover over a hundred partners known as "Friends of the Wine Route." Among them, you will find lodging, restaurants, and numerous agrotourism, cultural, and outdoor attractions.

Vignoble de l'Orpailleur - ÉCONOMUSÉE® du vigneron

The Orpailleur vineyard, a pioneer in its industry in Quebec, established its first vines in 1982 in the beautiful valley of Dunham. Since then, Charles-Henri de Coussergues, wine-maker and co-owner, is constantly pushing his limits to satisfy the wine industry in Quebec. The Orpailleur winery offers thirteen wines and is proud of the increasing national and international recognition from numerous experts. The vineyard has been awarded more than 140 gold and silver medals in various international competitions, a testimony evoking the care that the vineyard puts into the development of its wines.

Abbaye de Saint-Benoît-du-Lac

Starting in 1912, Benedictine monks from France built a monastery overlooking Lake Memphremagog. The modern Abbey pays tribute to the harmony of natural geometric forms and makes splendid use of multicoloured bricks and granite. Visits are offered at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.: discover the history of the site with a special story, access to the church terrace and a beautiful view and exclusive video on the life of the monks including their testimony. A wide variety of homemade products are available at the store year-round such as cheese, ciders and apple products. Pick-your-own apples in season, retreats and guided tours are offered to discover an exceptional site. Pick your own during weekends from Labor Day to Thanksgiving, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Over twenty varieties of apples are also available at orchard stands: Sunrise, Paulared, Cortland, Honeycrisp, McIntosh and more. Several homemade products on sale at our boutique. We offer three varieties of cider including Kir abbatial, apple sauce, apple butter, cider vinegar and other products.

Discover our lavender farm in Magog! Now open year-round, Espaces Bleu Lavande offers visitors a unique experience! Visitors will be able to explore the interior and exterior ‘discovery’ spaces and attractions - the lavender fields, the gardens and the auditorium where they can participate in the amazing interactive presentation created by the Moment Factory. They will also learn through interactive activities about how many factors have gone into the development of a lavender farm in Quebec. Those have been a combination of the composition of the soil, the impact of the weather, the role of Mother Nature on the growing season and sheer good luck. Townships Trail

Discover the history that shaped the Eastern Townships by following in the footsteps of the first wave of inhabitants. Americans, Loyalists, Scottish and Irish settlers came to the area during the late 18th century and throughout the 19th century and their imprint permanently marked the landscape and heritage of the region. On the Chemin des Cantons, you’ll travel through 31 towns and villages strewn with gorgeous Victorian homes, round barns, historical characters, covered bridges, museums, churches representing 17 different faiths, interpretive sites and more—all telling the captivating tale of the Townships through time. The Townships Trail also have various thematic routes : Ancestral Homes Route, Round Barns and Covered Bridges Route, Heritage Route, Panoramic Route, Expertise Route and Founders' Route.

Family-owned business in organic farming. Located on the farm, the Fromagerie La Station prepares cheeses made from organic raw cow’s milk. We have opted for organic pastures that give our cheeses a very local flavour. Winner of several regional, provincial and national awards, our products are the reflection of our home-grown produce and the quality of our know-how. Come taste Alfred Le Fermier (firm cheese), the Comtomme (semi-firm cheese) and the Chemin Hatley (firm cheese). Guided tour at Le Siboire Depot microbrewery. The Siboire Depot, the first branch to open in November 2007, is located in the heart of downtown Sherbrooke in a historial building that once housed a train station. While being close to all the downtown attractions, the Siboire Dépôt offers a large, peaceful, floral terrace in the summer. The menu offers a variety of quality dishes and features its famous fish’n chips: a recipe proudly prepared by entrepreneurs trained by the National Federation of Fish Frier of England. Housed in a stately and elegant heritage house in Sherbrooke (1862), Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre combines history with local cultural and artistic traditions. The centre generates a sense of community spirit and acts as a base for creative activities for its members, its user groups and the community at large. Uplands is a unique cultural establishment - we exhibit the works of regional artists, the English tea experience (group rates), various cultural activities, as well as an impressive collection of antiques belonging to the Lennoxville-Ascot Historical and Museum Society.
