Missisquoi Museum

Housed in three 19th-century buildings, the Missisquoi Museum retells the life of the pioneers and the history of the county of Missisquoi and its surrounding area. Its mission is to gather, preserve, analyze and exhibit anything of heritage and historical interest. The museum features over 20,000 artefact items and archives located in the three buildings. Come visit the Cornell Mill, Hodge’s General Store and the 12-sided Walbridge Barn.

Vignoble Le Cep d'Argent

Within the Vignoble Le Cep d'Argent, the interpretation center of the traditional Champagne method opens its doors on the universe of Champagne, the cradle of Jean-Paul and François Scieur, winemakers-owners. Besides the history of this famous region of France, the Interpretation Centre focuses on the controlled designation of the origin of Champagne while all stages of the production of sparkling wines are deployed and explained as well as the different techniques of serving and tasting. The visit, free admission, is an inspiration to continue the discovery of the Champenois universe of the Eastern Townships.

The Centre culturel de l’Université de Sherbrooke encompasses the Maurice O'Bready concert hall, four fireplaces, one lounge and an art gallery. Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre

Housed in a stately and elegant heritage house in Sherbrooke (1862), Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre combines history with local cultural and artistic traditions. The centre generates a sense of community spirit and acts as a base for creative activities for its members, its user groups and the community at large. Uplands is a unique cultural establishment - we exhibit the works of regional artists, the English tea experience (group rates), various cultural activities, as well as an impressive collection of antiques belonging to the Lennoxville-Ascot Historical and Museum Society.
